ABOUT HYLTON CREW BOOSTERS

Hylton Crew Boosters Club, Inc. is a club sport affiliated with C.D. Hylton, Sr High School in Woodbridge, Virginia. The co-ed team trains out of the Oxford Boathouse located in Lake Ridge Park along the Occoquan Reservoir in Woodbridge, Virginia, and competes at local, regional, state, and national events.  Hylton High School's participation in scholastic rowing was established in 1992.

No prior rowing experience is necessary to join the team. Rowers receives instruction from a team of renowned coaches who work hard to keep the Hylton Crew program strong and help each rower realize his or her potential. The coaches strive to ensure that all rowers compete at all local regattas. 

The crew program is managed and run by the Board of Directors of Hylton Crew Boosters Club, Inc.  The Boosters association is a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt, non-profit organization supporting the Hylton Sr. High School Crew Program. Hylton Crew Boosters Club, Inc. funds scholastic rowing through dues and fundraising activities.


Hylton Crew Boosters Membership

Membership in this Club offers the right of one vote per household at general meetings and the right to hold an office if elected to the Board of Directors. When a rower registers for the team each of his/her parents or guardians will immediately be recognized as members of the Club and will remain members until their rower leaves the team.


Hylton Crew Boosters Board of Directors

The Hylton Crew Boosters Board of Directors are volunteers who serve one-year terms beginning 15 June of each year and ending on 14 June the following year. The Board consists of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Fundraising Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator, and Equipment Coordinator. For the 2026-2027 season, many vacancies remain. ​​​​​​​Together, Hylton's coaching staff have a combined total of over 120 years of rowing experience.  Their dedication and passion show every time they hit the water, and their knowledge has propelled Hylton to numerous regatta podiums.
